10th Berea Celtic Festival
August 16-18, 2019
This gathering of joyful, talented and very skillful folks is a city-wide event and brings in 40-50 enthusiastic musicians from 10-12 states. It is always slated for the third weekend in August.
The weekend includes sessions, concerts, workshops, dancing, story telling, and a lot of fellowship.

8:30 PM Contra dance led by Joe Wilkie. Music by Four Leaf Peat.

Saturday 8/17: Sessions at College Square and Short Street, from 1:00 PM - 5:30 PM.
Events at Papa Leno's, BC Shoppe, Robie Books, Farmers Market.
4:00 PM: Special Galician and Breton pipe presentation by John Skelton
at Cowan Chapel.
7:30 PM: The Celtic Gala Concert at Union Church. $20/ $5.
Sunday 8/18 : Celtic service at Union Church begins at 10:30 AM. Donations accepted.
Irish harp music at Hotel Boone Tavern featuring Jeni Balcom. For brunch guests. Begins at 12:30 PM.
Mission statement: The Folk Circle Association of Berea, Kentucky is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization that seeks to enrich the Berea region through the cultivation of folk recreation, folk dance, folk music, general gymnastics and exercise, educational programs and activities.
